A vibrant, cultural city: there are many reasons to visit Karlsruhe and from January 2016, the Karlsruhe Card offers yet another reason to discover the capital of Baden. The new City Pass provides a number of complimentary benefits and discounts, along with free bus and train travel throughout the city.
These include entry to major cultural attractions, such as the ZKM | Centre for Art and Media, Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Badisches Landesmuseum, Staatliche Kunsthalle and the State Museum of Natural History, for example, along with leisure facilities such as Europabad and Karlsruhe Zoo. As well as free entry to seven museums, a valid Karlsruhe Card also allows visitors to join public city tours free of charge at weekends, or take advantage of discounts when purchasing souvenirs at the Tourist Information Office and preferential prices in selected restaurants.
Karlsruhe Card Prices
The Karlsruhe Card is available as a 24, 48 or 72-hour pass, starting from the time it is first used with our mobility partner the Karlsruhe Transport Authority or any of our other partners. A discounted Karlsruhe Card is available for children aged between 6 and 14.
Every card comes with a new, pocket-sized ‘Karlsruhe at a glance’ brochure, which tells you all you need to know about the Karlsruhe Card and provides a comprehensive overview of the main attractions, museums, restaurants and leisure activities, along with Karlsruhe’s main events, including a city and public transport map.
The Karlsruhe Card is available from the Karlsruhe Tourist Information Office, located immediately opposite the main train station, via the KTG Karlsruhe Tourismus GmbH online shop and from many participating hotels.
