Whether by rail, road or air – Karlsruhe is easy to reach from all directions.
Coming from the north from Frankfurt am Main and from the south from Stuttgart, you can reach Karlsruhe via Autobahn A5, exit Karlsruhe-Mitte. From the east take Autobahn A8 in the direction of Karlsruhe until Karlsruher Dreieck.
Note: From 2009 there is also an environment zone in Karlsruhe. Vehicles driving in the environment zone must have a particle emissions sticker.
Karlsruhe is an intersection for TGV (to Paris and Marseilles), ICE, Inter-City, EuroCity and InterRegio connections and is situated directly on the ICE route from Hamburg to Basel via Frankfurt. From here, the west-east axis begins from Karlsruhe to Munich via Stuttgart.
You can reach Karlsruhe easily from the Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport (approx. 30 minutes by car) and from Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Strasbourg airports (approx. 60 minutes by car). For groups we will organise an airport transfer which transports guests from the airport directly to the hotel comfortably in air-conditioned buses.
