Parks and gardens

Learn to appreciate the green side of Karlsruhe!

Karlsruhe is a green city with around 1000 hectares of green space: extensive park facilities such as the castle gardens or the Günther Klotz Park invite you to take a walk and go on aimless wanders. The small white benches in the Botanical Gardens entice you to sit down and forget that you are in the middle of a large city surrounded by numerous different plant and tree species. Small, affectionately arranged squares, from which you can pleasantly observe the hustle and bustle of city life, also punctuate the cityscape.
